LC Memphis produces "A Message From Memphis" Haiti Tribute Music Video/Documentary
The artists and musicians on this album include Kirk Whalum, The Barkays, The Temprees, Jimi Jamison, Alexis Grace, J. Blackfoot, Ruby Wilson, and many others who joined to record the song "A Message From Memphis." The documentary features Mayor A.C. Wharton, Rev. Bill Adkins, County Mayor Joe Ford, and over 100 artist. The Music Video and Documentary was Produced, Directed and Edited by LC Memphis.
This powerful music video documentary features more than 40 Memphis artist, politicians, musicians and more with rare footage from the crisis in Haiti. The project was shot over 4 weeks and includes interviews with both county and city Mayors and legendary figures from the music industry in Memphis. LC was entrusted to bring the flavor and creative direction and well as manage and coordinate all aspects of the video production. The music video was completed on April 16, 2010. The project is slated for May 18, 2010 release on JEA Rightnow Records and was funded by the City of Memphis and Shelby County.
